Materials Systems and Dynamics II

Profs Taikan Oki and Kazuo Oki

This class will provide you with basic concepts and some advanced topics on hydrology (water cycle and water resources). As a term project, each student selects a research topic with your interest, performs some analysis (literature survey, numerical modeling, data analysis, and synthesis) under the guidance of lecturers, and makes presentations at the end of the semester.

Global Hydrological Cycle incl. Water/Energy Balance Equation

Atmospheric Dynamics

Statistics of Extremes and Rainfall-Runoff Modeling

Isotope Hydrology and Reanalysis

Mid term presentation

Environmental Ecology and Modelling

Water Quality

Remote Sensing of Water Quality

Remote Sensing of ET
