Course Title: Lessons from Japanese environmental issues

Course Objectives/Overview

Lessons from past environmental pollution issues in Japanese history. We will discuss the relevance to human health. What messages can we convey to the future ?

Schedule

Search for literature / papers dealing with the topics. Discussion of why some or most of environmental issues are detrimental to our health. The course will include fieldwork to research the present state in relevance to the topics.
