
Ryota Wada is an Associate Professor at the Department of Ocean Technology, Policy, and Environment, Graduate School of Frontier Sciences, the University of Tokyo (UTokyo). He holds a Ph.D. in Environmental Studies, and Master's degree in Engineering, both from UTokyo.
His research interests are related to data science, such as extreme event analysis and physics-informed machine learning, motivated by ocean application such as offshore wind energy and offshore CCS. In addition, several projects on model-based roadmap design for complex socio-technical systems are being conducted.
