Prof. Kansha received a PhD degree from National University of Singapore in 2008, specialized in Chemical Engineering. Before he joins GPES, he worked as a Project Associate Professor of Collaborative Research Center for Energy Engineering, Department of Mechanical and Biofunctional Systems at the Institute of Industrial Science in the University of Tokyo, where he was researching process design methodology and optimization for energy saving. His research activities are focused on process system engineering and thermodynamics, i.e. process design and control, optimization, heat integration, and energy/exergy analysis in chemical and energy processes.
